These terms apply to your use of this website and to handyman services provided by A1 Miami Handyman Services ("A1 Miami", "we", "us"). By using this site or booking work with us, you agree to them.
Website use
The content on this site is for general information about our services. Photos show work we have completed; results on your project will depend on its specific conditions. We may update the site at any time without notice.
Estimates
Estimates are based on the information and photos you provide and on what we can see during a visit. If hidden conditions are found once work begins (for example, damage behind a wall), we will explain what we found and agree on any change in price with you before continuing.
Scope of services
We provide general handyman repair, maintenance, installation and decor services. We do not perform work that Florida or Miami-Dade County requires a licensed specialty contractor to perform, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC or structural work. If your project needs a licensed specialist or a permit, we will let you know.
Materials
Materials may be supplied by you or purchased by us. When we purchase materials, their cost is included in your estimate or invoice. Manufacturer warranties on products remain with the manufacturer.
Payment
Payment terms will be confirmed with you before work starts. For larger jobs, a deposit may be requested to cover materials. Final payment is due when the work is complete unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Cancellations and rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule an appointment at no charge by giving us at least 24 hours' notice.
- If you cancel after we have purchased special-order or custom materials for your job, the cost of those materials may be non-refundable.
- We may need to reschedule because of weather, safety concerns or emergencies. If so, we will contact you as soon as possible to set a new time.
Refunds
- Deposits are refundable in full if you cancel before any materials are purchased or work begins.
- If materials have been purchased, the deposit is refunded minus the cost of materials, which will be left with you.
- Labor already performed is not refundable.
Workmanship concerns
If you are not satisfied with any part of our work, please contact us promptly. We will come back to review the issue and, where the problem is with our workmanship, correct it at no additional labor cost.
Access and site conditions
You agree to provide safe access to the work area and to let us know about pets, known hazards, or HOA rules that affect the job. Please move fragile or valuable items away from the work area before we arrive.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Florida law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific work involved. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or for damage caused by products or materials supplied by others.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
